I enjoyed the links you included in your diagram. I find it interesting that between the four of us in the group, how we each identified with different things. It seems so obvious after reading it in your blog, on how paper, pens etc. are to be replaced with the infusion of ereaders and ebooks in the classroom. I thought that this would be a great selling point for administrators looking to save a buck. I know in my school we are quite concerned about being a green building. What a better way to conserve on paper use than to purchase this technology.

  2. Cynthia,

When considering e-books in the future I do believe there will be more digital books available and they will also include more graphics and audio. I also believe that some books may become obsolete, but not all books. Currently that is a disadvantage with e-books now, limitation on the titles that are available.
I have included a website that focuses on the capabilities of e-books in the future.

  3. Charlotte and Jane,
Thanks for your comments. I apologize this is not my best work, but I find the topic very interesting.

I don't know how I made it without my Kindle and I now try to get most all "mostly text" books in that format. I still must have hard copies of my cookbooks and different books with illustrations; however, I look forward to the future of the e-book and Charlotte, I love the URL you provided!
